Crock Pot Chicken Recipe

Do you know that food is the most common topic in our lives? I mean, who doesn't love food. In fact, to a certain extent, I think I am obsessed with food. I am almost always thinking about food, but that doesn't mean that I am crazy, but normal. Our body needs food. Without food, our body would fail to function properly. Hello, and welcome to my food blog. This food blog shares recipes which are easy and fun to do and most importantly it is a food blog for noobs.

There is a variety of good recipes for cooking chicken and roasting is probably one of the easiest as it doesn't take too much of our time. Just leave it in a pot for a couple of hours and they are ready to be served. Here is one good recipe which I would like to share with you. I hope you will enjoy it. Good luck!

Ingredients:
  • salt
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 large roasting chicken (with pop-up timer if possible)
  • 1 cup chopped onion (optional)
Directions:
  1. Combine the spices in a small bowl and rub the mixture onto the chicken.
  2. Then place the chicken in a resealable plastic bag and refrigerate overnight. If you do not have much time, marinate the chicken for at least half an hour before cooking.
  3. Using a crock pot, put in the chopped onion in bottom and the chicken on top. It is not necessary to add any water.
  4. Then cook on low for about 4-8 hours. The time to cook depends on your crock pot.
