The way to cook Chicken Noodle Soup is quite straightforward. It is almost like cooking chicken soup but with noodles. If you are single and are only cooking for yourself, you should try this instead of instant noodles. Although there are more ingredients involved, it should taste very much better than instant noodles.
- 2 teaspoons butter
- 1 cup sliced celery
- 1 cup chopped carrot
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 small potato, diced
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- 4 (14 ounce) cans chicken broth
- 2 teaspoons chicken bouillon
- 4 ounces egg noodles
- 2 cups cooked chicken
- parsley
- Firstly, melt the butter in large pot and stir in the celery, carrot and onion for 2 minutes making sure that you do not burn the pot.
- Then add the diced potatoes, thyme, poultry seasoning, chicken broth and bouilion.
- Once the soup is boiling, add the noodles and chicken.
- Continue cooking on low for another 20 minutes or so and remove any impurities before serving. For garnish, sprinkle the chicken noodle soup with parsley.
