Chicken with Cream Butter

This is another simple recipe for cooking chicken using a crock pot. This recipe is good for those who do not wish to spend too much time in the kitchen. It is simple yet delicious and you may prepare this in the morning and by the time you are back from work, it is ready. Here are the ingredients you need and the steps to cook yourself and your family a pot of Chicken with Cream Butter.

Ingredients:
  • 3 lbs chicken pieces
  • carrots and celery
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter (divided)
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, chopped
  • 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
Directions:
  1. Place chicken pieces in crock pot and the carrots and celery. Then add 2 tablespoons melted butter.
  2. Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a sauce pan and saute onion and garlic. Add Cream of Chicken Soup, cream cheese, and chicken broth.
  3. Then add this mixture to crock pot and cook on low until the chicken is soft and tender.
