Clams with White Sauce and Spaghetti

This is a quick and easy to cook pasta with clams. It is fast and easy to prepare for those who are working on a 9 to 5 jobs just like me. If you have fresh clams, use it. Otherwise, a can of minced clams will do the job.

Ingredients:
  • 2 -7 1/2 cans minced clams
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced or chopped)
  • 1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
Directions:
  1. Firstly, clean the clams with a brush and dry them.
  2. Then boil the clams and drain it, but save part of the juice.
  3. In a skillet, slowly heat the olive oil and butter, add garlic and saute until golden.
  4. Remove the mixture from the skillet.
  5. Stir in the saved juices and add parsley and salt.
  6. Once it is boiled, reduce the heat and simmer uncovered for another 10 minutes.
  7. Then add clams and simmer 3 minutes longer.
  8. Once the clams is ready, serve it hot over cooked spaghetti or other Italian pasta and top with Parmesan cheese.
