This is a quick and easy to cook pasta with clams. It is fast and easy to prepare for those who are working on a 9 to 5 jobs just like me. If you have fresh clams, use it. Otherwise, a can of minced clams will do the job.
Ingredients:- 2 -7 1/2 cans minced clams
- 4 cloves garlic (minced or chopped)
- 1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 3 tablespoons chopped parsley
- grated parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Firstly, clean the clams with a brush and dry them.
- Then boil the clams and drain it, but save part of the juice.
- In a skillet, slowly heat the olive oil and butter, add garlic and saute until golden.
- Remove the mixture from the skillet.
- Stir in the saved juices and add parsley and salt.
- Once it is boiled, reduce the heat and simmer uncovered for another 10 minutes.
- Then add clams and simmer 3 minutes longer.
- Once the clams is ready, serve it hot over cooked spaghetti or other Italian pasta and top with Parmesan cheese.
